FABRIC & TRIMS NEEDED

Fabric: 1.50 metre (60 inches) - Width 1.40 metre (55 inches).

Choose a medium weight woven non-stretch fabric such as:

chambray
corduroy
canvas
cotton
twill
tweed
gabardine
jacquard
denim
wool

Lining (optional): 1.20 metre (47 inches) - Width 1.40 metre (55 inches).

Concealed invisible zip: from 20 cm to 25 cm
For the straps, choose your preferred option:

option 1 : D-rings & Press-stud buttons

option 2 : Bib & brace dungaree buckles

a round ring for the 'drop wrap' front skirt version

I am wearing a Victoria dress made in a light pink corduroy fabric from Cousette.

SKILL LEVEL

This pattern is labelled as Intermediate, due to the skills needed to insert the invisible zipper.

So if you are an advanced beginner ready to take on your next challenge then just take it slow and don't rush it.

Great pattern. Easy to follow as an interm...

Great pattern. Easy to follow as an intermediate beginner. I measured myself wrong and cut the pattern too big, but managed to bring it in to fit. Plan to make again with different fabric.

As a beginner sewer this was a little diff...

As a beginner sewer this was a little difficult to understand in some places, but I did manage to get through it though and its a great fitting garment that has a really professional finish.
