Main fabric:
- 1.25 metre (50 inches) for size UK 6-8-10 - Width 1.15 metre (45.3 inches).
- 1.30 metre (52 inches) for size UK 12-14-16 - Width 1.15 metre (45.3 inches).
Choose a sequin knit fabric sewn onto a knitted base material, such as mesh or velvet. Recommended fabrics include medium to heavy-weight stretch knit options, such as:
- Sequin Silky Stretch Knit Fabric
- Sequin Velvet Stretch Knit Fabric
- Sequin Mesh Fabric
Lining: Use a length similar to that of the main fabric.
Any light to medium-weight stretch dress lining fabric will work well.
The Camden Top sequin version is fully lined to prevent the fabric from scratching the skin. While binding the seam allowances could be an alternative, it requires more time to sew and doesn’t achieve the same clean, polished finish.

FABRIC NEEDED:
- SINGLE SLEEVE VERSION: 1 metre (40 inches) - Width 1.40 metre (55 inches).
- DOUBLE SLEEVE VERSION: 1.30 metre (51 inches) - Width 1.40 metre (55 inches).
Recommended fabrics: light to medium-weight stretch knit fabric such as cotton jersey, viscose jersey, wool jersey, interlock.
Trims: no trims needed
